Description:
CPU is an electronic journey through the inner workings of a computer system. The first two movements take you through the stages of start-up, multi-tasking and internet connections. The third movement, entitled “Virus,” is filled with internal warnings and system failures helping conclude the strong through-line concept of the production. CPU was originally commissioned for Los Alamitos HS in 2008 and recently won the A class gold medal at WGI championships in 2010 with Timber Creek HS.
