“And Sew It Goes” is a super fun and creative show all about sewing – think Cinderella's mice at work! The visual design is playful and imaginative with oversized props – large spools of thread, colorful stacks of buttons, sabers as “sewing needles,” and a giant ball of yarn that rolls across the field. Musically, the show stitches together classical and cartoon-inspired orchestral pieces. In contrast, the mood shifts with the lush, introspective ballad – Billy Joel's “And So It Goes,” offering emotional contrast. Fun, fanciful, and full of heart—this is a show that threads nostalgia and imagination into every step.

This show was written by Darren Loney, John Mapes & Frankie Rice. It was originally commissioned for Gahr HS in the fall of 2025 and was released for the 2026 season.
