The original idea behind "Linked' was the simple concept of starting together, breaking apart and then coming back together. The goal was to depict musically/visually the idea that together we are stronger than we could ever be apart. This show features a trio of a clarinet, alto sax and trombone. The trio plays layered features throughout the show until the end where they finally line up the main theme and play together!
"Linked" features music from "Song of Aeolus" by Karl Jenkins, "Piano Concerto No 2" by Rachmaninoff and"Symphonie Fantastique" by Berlioz.
This show was originally commissioned for the fall of 2021 and was released for the 2022 season.
